In a previous post you discovered a problem with 1.5.3 version:

“Okay, this is beyond embarrassing. This is actually a problem with the prerelease version of Knox 1.5.3—the 843 build, to be exact. Creating AES-256 encrypted vaults works fine on that version, but choosing the default of AES-128 makes the vault unencrypted.”

I just downloaded the trial version for Tiger. Is it fixed?

Yes, it is. This only affected a pre-release (beta) version of Knox.
