Multiple vaults show up in preferences

Trial version, 1.5.3 (873) When I click on Preferences/vaults—> i get multiple references to the hard disks that I have encrypted as volumes. For example, I have one HD called “My book” which was AES 256 encrypted as an entire vault. When I look in vaults, I see multiple entries for MY BOOK, one of which looks like an open suitcase which has a size, and the others are greyed out. Clicking on one of the greyed out ones, says The Vault “My BOOK” is stored on a volume that is unavailable. If the volume is an external….. There are 5 greyed out “my Book” vaults and one real one. What are these and can I delete them? I have a screenshot but I am looking for an email address to upload it. Thanks, wayne |

I neglected to point out I am running Leopard, 10.5.1 |

My best guess at this point is that those extra copies are Time Machine backups of the vaults. Would that make sense in your configuration? |

we will never know, since it took almost a month for a response to this forum, and I removed knox. Sorry, but I can’t wait 30 days for a response. Also, time machine was setup to exclude the two hard drives which were encrypted. Seemed like a good product, but also somewhat overpriced…at least in US currency. |
