Hi Knox gurus,
I have been using knox for several months and it works fine on my Mac, but I used it to protect my backup drive also. Today when I opened the backup drive in knox, it doesn’t show any files in finder, although if you look in the get info window for the backup drive, it shows that half the drive is used. What the heck??? How can I find those files, or erase them, or something…

I have the same exact problem. Worked like a charm before – installed it on my home computer instead to move all the information home. Now all Knox-files that I open are empty. I have one at 116 MB and one at 3.7 GB and no files are found in them!!

What is going on?

(and… I am running latest version of both OS and Knox – and tried to open the vaults on both of the computers without any luck)

Hello carol. Sorry for the delay in responding.

Knox will not touch the files inside your vault after their creation. Recreating the vault volume will wipe the disk and free space.
Prior to this problem arising, can you remember if your machine experienced a power outage or a similar situation where the backup drive would go offline or get disconnected from the computer while the vault still being open?
