Hi there, I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Every time I open a vault with Knox it defaults to icon view but I prefer column view. This preference never sticks and, in fact, on Leopard, frequently leads to changing my Finder preference to icon view as well (if I browse Finder with the Knox opened window. Is there some way to make this stick? Thanks!

The Leopard Finder is indeed quite strange, you can override the setting by setting column view and selecting View > Show View Options… > Always open in column view.

Thanks, that worked—I had tried doing that, but needed to first switch to the view I wanted to get the checkbox to say “Always open in column view” instead of “Always open in icon view”. Really appreciate your help.
