Vaults don't stay open after restart

I’ve checked the box to keep vaults open after restart but this never happens. I always have to manually launch the vaults. Am I missing something? |

Hello! This is indeed a bug we’ve heard of happening at least once before, but we’ve not been able to reproduce it. What OS X version are you currently running? Could you take a look at Console.app’s “Console Messages” from around the time this happened when Knox started up and see if something was logged by Knox. Any other information as to what settings might have changed prior to this happening is welcomed. Thanks! |

Hi – sorry for not following up. I’ve thought of one possible answer: do I need to save the Vault passwords in the keychain for “re-open on restart” to work? These are the Knox-related Console entries on starting my Mac (at least one vault was open when I shut down the computer the night before): 13.08.08 05:09 Knox202 ERROR! Hi Andreas, Saving passwords into the Keychain is not required here, and Knox should ask for the password for each vault. If you could create another user account, then create a few test vaults in it and test if Knox fails to open these vaults as well on login, that would be great. Also, is this Leopard you’re running Knox on? Thank you for the information! |
