Topic: Knox / Vaults don't stay open after restart

I’ve created a new user account and there created two vaults. They were both open and the user logged in when I made my Macbook restart. The main user account (also with an open vault) was also logged in.

On NEITHER of the two accounts the vaults re-opened after restart even though I activated this option in both preferences.

I didn’t get round to doing this yet – any chance that you found hints to this problem anyway? What about the new beta – any chance it addresses this issue?

What about if they’re NOT closed but nothing’s done with them (e.g. because no one is using the computer at the time of the backup)?

Or do I absolutely have to close the vaults when I leave my desk in the evening for the backup to go through properly?

I suppose this is a bit of a silly question but I just want to be sure: I clone my HD, which contains my vaults, nightly using SuperDuper.

Will the vaults work as expected in case I have to use the cloned disk?

Hi – sorry for not following up.

I’ve thought of one possible answer: do I need to save the Vault passwords in the keychain for “re-open on restart” to work?

I’ve checked the box to keep vaults open after restart but this never happens. I always have to manually launch the vaults. Am I missing something?

Topic: Knox / Can't buy with Paypal

I’ve tried to buy Knox using Paypal but I keep getting the error message that my country of residence has to be the same as my country of delivery. I haven’t chosen a country of delivery (how would I with downloadable software) and my country of residence as entered in the details page is Germany.

I contacted support several days ago but haven’t heard anything yet. Just to be sure: I want to give you my money!
