Knox 1.6.1

Knox now creates Leopard-only “sparse bundle” vaults by default. This vault type is more reliable than the old “sparse images”, and much faster to compact. To create a vault compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, choose the appropriate compatibility setting in “Advanced options”.

Lack of sparsebundle support is the only thing keeping me from buying Knox. I use Time Machine with a Time Capsule, and it just doesn’t make sense to use Knox when it forces the older, less friendly sparseimage on users. Knox is now $35, and Leopard has been out for almost 9 months…
